What a Cperm proof receipt records
Cperm Proof Receipts are generated for listings to preserve a cryptographic representation of publication. The receipt system produces a structured payload together with SHA-256 material and a cryptographic signature that can be checked independently.
The purpose is provenance: a later reader should be able to determine that a particular record existed in a particular form and that the verification material corresponds to it.
Publication and verification are separate layers
The visible listing remains useful for ordinary discovery. The proof receipt is a second layer designed for verification. That architecture lets Cperm preserve a readable marketplace experience while still supporting evidence-oriented publication.
Why cryptographic receipts matter
A screenshot can be copied or altered. A signed cryptographic record provides a different type of evidence: it lets a verifier compare the supplied record against the expected digest and signature rather than relying only on visual appearance.
